Can we apply for a grant to cover building costs?

Q1 Can I apply more than once for a grant?
  Yes, though not usually in the same year
    
Q2 Is my financial situation relevant?
  Yes, grants are reserved for those in financial need.
    
Q3 Can I apply for a grant for day school fees?
  No, but sometimes help is available for school extras e.g. trips, music, tuition.
    
Q4 Are grants available to young people resident anywhere
in the UK?
  No, only in Scotland with preference for the Lothians.
    
Q5 Can I apply for assistance with university expenses?
  No, but occasionally help is available for further education courses.
   

   

 

Q1 Can we apply for a grant to cover building costs?
  No, no capital costs are funded.
    
Q2 Can we apply for a grant to cover running costs?
  No, no running costs are funded.
    
Q3 Where funding is being sought for a group activity, must all participants fall in to the category of young people covered by the Trust's criteria?
  Yes, or individual applications should be made for relevant people.
    
Q4 Can grants be awarded for general fundraising requests?
  No, grants are only considered for specific activities that fall within the Trust's criteria.
